Frequently asked

Questions we hear at the gate.

How large are your classes?

We cap every class at 24 pupils with one teacher and (from Grade 1 up) one teacher-aide. Most classes run 18–22.

Do you offer scholarships?

We have a small need-based scholarship fund reserved for alumni families and for returning siblings. Applications open in March each year. Ask the registrar for details.

What does the readiness meeting look like?

It is a 30-minute playdate, not a test. Your child reads a picture book with a teacher, draws their family, and plays with the classroom materials. We are watching for curiosity and comfort in a group — no score, no pass/fail.

Can my child enroll mid-year?

Yes, if there is space and the child is close to our current grade level. We evaluate mid-year applications on a rolling basis. Most requests come from families relocating to Quezon City.

What is the school's religious affiliation?

NCA is a non-denominational Christian school. We hold weekly chapel, say grace before lunch, and teach Bible stories in values formation. Children from all faith backgrounds are welcome — we ask only that families respect our program.

Do you accept students with learning differences?

Case by case. We can support mild learning differences with our small classes and in-house reading specialist. More complex needs may be beyond what we can offer, and we will say so during the interview. We would rather be honest than enroll a child we can't serve well.
